The unit we got was well-equipped with TV. The location was perfect, close to old town...
The room had bad views.

Its location was central, not too far from an arts city hall. The main shopping center and shopping centers where right next door.
It had really bad views.

It was a decent city hotel, nothing special. The service people were, however, friendlier and more caring than average.
Parking fees of $20 daily applied for partial days, so from 6 P.M. Friday to 12 noon Monday, less than three days, resulted in a fee of $79 instead of $60. Very high price; the dollar discount notwithstanding.

We had particularly nice breakfasts.
Booked a room with comfortable bed.

Room was beautiful. Staff was very competent and extremely helpful. Very nice feel. There were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. After a long drive, I didn't feel like driving to a restaurant for dinner.
I didn't love the $25 valet charge. Our room was on the 5th floor and the roof fan made a tremendous noise all night. We were offered ear plugs... Why not fix the noise problem? We were too tired to ask to be moved to another floor. It was really very loud!!

Nice reception from the staff and very accommodating when we weren't happy with our original room, they quickly relocated us. We were there for one relaxing evening- lovely room, comfortable bed, gracious environment, centralized location.
The bells from the nearby church rang repeatedly throughout the day and evening- nice at first but then too much!

Strongly recommend for a flying visit
Comfortable room, convenient location, with excellent amenities like wi-fi and a 24-hour reception, made our stay hassle-free as we could easily access everything we needed for our weekend trip.
The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful .

Professional and helpful and friendly staff. Excellent hotel restaurant. Great location. Free Wi Fi a plus.
Poor maintenance of light fixtures, I.E. missing light bulbs, malfunctioning lamps. Limited cable tv options.

The hotel is a charming looking boutique type establishment, well appointed and well located.
The service was skeletal-- we had problems with the heat and there was no engineer on duty from very early in the evening. As the night progressed the heating system in our room completely pooped out, and it was so late in the night we just slept in our coats. The way the heater appeared, I got the sense that the remodeling of this charming old building was superficial-- cosmetic more than real. The staff were nice, but made no attempt to reduce our bill, which I resented. They did say this was hard to do because we booked via a third party. While they offered us a free breakfast, only one person was working the tables and the service was so slow that we just left.
